Brandt Construction Company
is located at 265 Zion Road, Hillsborough, New Jersey, in Somerset County. We are a small asphalt paving and driveway company
with only the highest of standards. I am the owner, my name is William "Ron" Brandt and my wife is the secretary for the company, her name is Gloria. Our experience in the construction and paving business stems back 3 generations. My father started out in the paving business with a rickety old 1950's Ford Dump Truck. It was called Bill Brandt and Sons Paving. He did not have any fancy equipment like we do today, just the basics: shovel, rake, pick, sledgehammer, wheelbarrow and hand roller to smooth out the asphalt. My brother and I worked with him as kids into our early 20's. He taught us the value of doing good work for affordable prices. My brother and I went on to open our own business; we named it Brandt Construction Company.
We did all kinds of things, from digging cellars to land grading and clearing to asphalt work. Eventually my brother went on to follow a life-long itch to fix heavy construction equipment and became a mechanic. I started exclusively doing asphalt paving, and with my knack for running construction equipment, my eagle eyes and strong back, I knew it was an honest way to support my family. My sons worked with me as they grew up; on weekends, after school and summers. I taught them that it is important to be an honest and hardworking man and to always do your best. My son, Greg, owns and operates Brandt's Sealcoating and can help you with your driveway maintenance needs. My son, Jeff, works hard in all aspects of the business and will take over someday.
